NOTEBOOKING ESSENTIALS for Grades 3-8 (SESSION # 2404) 

All the basics and more for interactive notebooks and journals in your classroom. Dinah Zike’s Notebook Foldables® book and InRIGORating Science Notebooks included in materials. Discover how to transform student notebooks into dimensional, individualized, and brain-smart tools that give students opportunities to immerse themselves in the content you teach. Help students learn visually and kinesthetically as they organize information to achieve more personal, authentic communication and lasting meaning. Participants will make their own examples and learn strategies for implementing this powerful and effective learning tool. Sessions include supplies, light refreshments, and 3.0 hours of CPE credit.

DZA 2024 Sessions Information

What: Three-hour presentations are designed to enhance classroom instruction by implementing Foldables® and Notebook Foldables® (3-D interactive graphic organizers) into a curriculum. Sessions include supplies, light refreshments, and 3.0 hours of CPE credit. The Dinah Zike Academy is accredited by the State of Texas to provide Continuing Professional Education; our provider number is 501-536.

Where: The sessions are held at the Dinah Zike Academy at 609 7th Street in Comfort TX 78013. Comfort is located in the Texas Hill Country off Interstate 10W. We are approximately 40 minutes from San Antonio and about 1 ½ hours from Austin.

When: Sessions are currently offered on Fridays and Saturdays. Morning sessions are scheduled from 9 a.m. to 12p.m.; afternoon sessions are scheduled from 1-4 p.m.

Cost: $120.00 per person per session includes all supplies and materials, light refreshments, and 3.0 hours of CPE credit. Registration includes non-refundable $25 administrative fee. Payment completed via PayPal (credit card or PayPal account), check, cash, or Purchase Order. Invoices will be sent via email, so active email account is required.
